Roulette – A Numbers Game

Roulette is a game of numbers.  The lesser amount of numbers you cover with a wager, the more money you’re going to win if that number comes up.  The more numbers you cover, the lesser amount of money you’ll win.

Roulette is a deceptively easy game.  Before you put any money on any gambling game you should know the ins, outs and odds of the games.  Log onto our sales website at http://www.LowdownReports.com/eShop.php and scroll down to the Report on Play Roulette.  Order your Report today and be on your way to being a winning player.

The game is played with dealers converting player’s money into chips – one color per player and generally 7 colors per table.  The players then make their wagers and the dealer spins the ball as the wheel is spinning.  The ball falls into a numbered slot and that is the winning number.

The wagering patterns of the game define how much you can possibly win – per wager.

You can wager on a single number, pays 35 to 1 – the highest payout on the board – 35 to 1.

You can split a wager between two numbers by placing that wager on any line that connects any two numbers.  Above and below the line or side by side.  Generally pays 17 to 1.

You can wager on three numbers at a time by placing the wager at either side of a row of three numbers  – that win pays 11 to 1.

You wager on four numbers by placing a wager on the cross of the two lines that connects any four numbers in the center of the layout numbered from 1 to 36 – that win pays 8 to 1.

There is only one 5 number wager.  You place a wager on the line between the (O) and (OO) and 1-2-3.  That wagers pays 7 to 1.  You can cover six numbers at a time by placing the wager on the line to either side of the layout that connects any of the six numbers.  That wager covers the three numbers below the line and the three numbers above it – paying five to one.

Directly next to the numbered layout there are the column bets and the section boxes.  Section 1 covers 1-12, Section 2 covers 13-24, Section 3 covers 25-36.  The boxes that say 2 to 1 at the bottom of the column cover all 12 numbers in that column.  There are three columns of numbers on a Roulette layout so there are three column wagers paying 2 to one – same as the three section wagers.  A winning wager in any one of the six boxes in either of these two places (the Sections or the Columns) garners a win of two to 1.

The outside line is a 50-50 proposition – Any one wager covers half of the numbers, either by color or by number, or by odd or even.  It’s a one to one payoff.

It is not uncommon for Roulette players to stay with the Even Money wagers and the columns and the sections.  Of the two, the Even Money wagers are the safest and most likely to win most frequently – even if that win is paid at one to one.  Next would be the sections and the columns which will pay two to one.  It’s a popular way for players to be able to play the game with little risk.  Of course, it is very unlikely that a player will come away from the game with any profit.  The profit in Roulette is made on the numbers in the center of the board with wagers covering four or less numbers.  All other wagers and wins just give you enough profit to stay in the game.

When it’s time to play, slide your money to the dealer and they will give you chips to wager with.  When the wagers have been placed, the dealer will spin the wheel in one direction, flip the ball under the rim in the other direction.  At some point in the spin the dealer will call “No More Wagers” and that closes the wagering.  Anything placed after that point is not in play.

When the ball falls into the winning slot, the dealer will put a marker on the table on that number.  The dealer will then pull all losing wagers off the table and begin paying the winners on the outside numbers, columns and sections first, then pay the inside numbers.

Most casinos now offer an addition to their Roulette tables.  The table features a digital reader board that stands above the Roulette wheel.  That reader board tells the players the previous winning numbers.  The supposition is that by showing the most recent winning numbers, the house is somehow giving you an indication of what the upcoming winning numbers might be.

Please remember the overriding message in these gaming reports – the odds are always in favor of the house and the house is not going to provide the player with information that will give them any kind of an edge against the house.  Again, it’s all percentages and each time that ball rolls the odds for any one number are the same.  The fact that the ball has fallen into a black number five times in a row does not increase the chances that it is going to fall into a red number on the next roll.
